This policy explains what information laurazhakupova.com ("the Site") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is operated by Laura Zhakupova, providing private piano lessons and performances in Bahrain.

In short: we don't run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, may load a lightweight, cookieless analytics beacon to measure basic site performance and traffic (see Section 3). The only personal data collected directly by us is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form, delivered by a third-party form processor (Web3Forms) and not stored on this website.

1. Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you provide: first name, last name, email address, the service you're interested in, and your message. A hidden "honeypot" field is included purely to catch automated spam submissions and is not visible or usable by real visitors.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, loads a cookieless analytics beacon (described in Section 3) that measures aggregate traffic - it does not use cookies or persistent identifiers to track individual visitors across sites.

2. How your information is used

To respond to your enquiry about lessons or performance bookings.
To keep a record of the conversation for scheduling purposes (e.g. in email or WhatsApp).

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

The Site relies on the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

Web3Forms - processes and delivers contact form submissions by email. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.
Instagram (Meta) - video reels are embedded directly from Instagram. Instagram/Meta may set its own cookies or collect data when these embeds load, independent of this Site. See Instagram's privacy policy.
Cloudflare - the Site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard technical connection data (such as IP address) for security and performance as part of web hosting, and may load a cookieless analytics beacon (static.cloudflareinsights.com) to measure aggregate site traffic. This beacon does not use cookies or track individuals across websites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Cloudflare Web Analytics.

4. Data retention

Contact form submissions are delivered directly to our email inbox; we do not maintain a separate database of enquiries. Messages are retained in our email account for as long as needed to respond to and manage bookings, and may be deleted periodically.

5. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information you've submitted through the contact form by reaching out via WhatsApp or Instagram (see the Site's contact section). We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children's privacy

Piano lessons are offered to children, and enquiries on their behalf are submitted by a parent or guardian through the contact form. The Site itself does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16 without parental involvement.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Site or applicable law. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
